Year Four Excursion

Issue 07

YEAR FOUR EXCURSION TO FREMANTLE

On Tuesday the 13 March the Year Four students went on an excursion to Fremantle. On the excursion the Year Four children met with a tour guide who led them on a journey through Fremantle. During this walking tour, Greg, the tour guide shared many stories and cultural experiences about Indigenous Australians. The Year Four students visited many exciting places including the Whalers Tunnel, the Round House and the WA Shipwrecks Museum. When the students arrived at the WA Shipwrecks Museum, they were sent on a quest to ‘discover’ a variety of artefacts and different information about the history of Batavia and the early explorers. Despite it being an extremely hot day, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Especially Miss Ziino and Miss O’Connor.

Miss Ziino and Miss O’Connor would like to say a huge thank you to Ms Spadaccini and to the parents for all their support throughout the day. We look forward to sharing many more exciting journeys together throughout the year!
