Their Future, Our Calling

Their Future, Our Calling

On Thursday 25 October 2018 Infant Jesus School was full of possibilities for the future with children coming dressed in their chosen future professions.

This themed Dress Up Day encouraged children to dress up as what they wanted to be when they grew up.

Paul Hille, School Principal, encouraged all children to celebrate the many professions that were in our community and even reflected on the professions that weren’t present when he was a child. A brief conversation with a child who had come as a Youtuber, sparked a conversation about how many professions have changed over the years, and even how some professions didn’t exist in the past.

Children have been involved in many activities to celebrate their thinking about their future professions throughout the week. Many children have discussed, illustrated and wrote about the many professions that may exist in their future.

When I Grow Up Dress Up Day is a local awareness initiative for Catholic Education Western Australia schools. #theCEWAdifference #theirfuture #ourcalling #discovercatholiceducation
